StashCache does not collect any personal data. The app operates entirely offline on your device. There are:
All data you create in StashCache (inventory items, photos, locations, passcode, recovery phrase) is stored locally on your device only, using:
No data is ever transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
StashCache requests access to your camera and photo library only to let you attach photos to your inventory items. These photos are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded or shared.
Your passcode and recovery phrase are stored in the iOS Keychain, which provides hardware-level encryption. StashCache has no ability to retrieve your passcode or recovery phrase if lost — there is no server-side backup.
You may export your inventory data at any time via the app's Export feature. The exported file is created locally and shared via iOS's native share sheet. StashCache does not retain any copy of the exported file.
StashCache does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages.
StashCache does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs that collect user data.
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the new version at this URL. Since StashCache collects no data, significant changes are unlikely.
